The Groton Town Planning Board met at 8 : 00 p . m . March 5 , 1969 .
PRESENT : Dan Carey , Chairman
George Totman
Ray Senecal
Ron Cotanch
Art Clark , representing the press
Mr . Totman reported the Groton Town Board had given the Town Planning
Board authority to review subdivision plats . He also reported the " 701 "
Board had met and agreed to proceed towards applying for a " 701 " study plan .
Mr . Carey announced a county planning meeting March 31 at 8 : 00 p . m . at
the Farm and Home Center in Ithaca . He also reported Mr . Thomas Niederkorn
would meet with us April 2nd to discuss mobile home trailer ordinance .
The remainder of the meeting was taken up by discussion of proposed
inclusions in the mobile home ordinance . These were lot size , 40 , 000 sq . ft ;
150 ' frontage ; 50 ' set back , front and rear ' 25 ' from side lot lines ; land-
scaping ; permanent foundation ; separate storage area ; placement of fuel tank .
Meeting adjourned at 10 : 00 p . m .
