REGULAR MEETING The Regular Meeting of the Town of Groton Planning Board was called to order by Acting Chair Monica Carey at 7:30 p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - 16 JANUARY 2014 A motion was made by Member Barbara Clark to approve the Minutes of the 16 January 2014 Planning Board meeting, as submitted. The motion was seconded by Member Lisa Maloney Hahn, with the vote recorded as follows: Ayes: Acting Chair Carey Nays: None Chair Neuhauser Member Baxendell Member Clark Member Morey Member Wyllie Member Maloney Hahn Motion carried. This becomes Action #5 of 2014. OLD BUSINESS - NONE NEW BUSINESS Matthew Sledieski, Applicant, Reputed Owner- 962 Sovocool Hill Road -TM #s 25.-1-39.1 39.2 - Boundary Line Change Acting Chair Carey recognized the applicant who explained to everyone that he was seeking approval to combine his two adjoining parcels of 19.94± and 72.11± acres into one parcel of 92.05± acres, as shown on a portion of the tax map accompanying the application. With no further discussion, a motion was made by Member John Morey that the Town of Groton Page 1 of 2 (T)Groton Planning Board Minutes of Regular Meeting 20 February 2014 Planning Board declares itself as Lead Agency under SEQRA for the proposed Minor Subdivision. The motion was seconded by Member Bret Wyllie, with the vote recorded as follows: Ayes: Acting Chair Carey Nays: None Chair Neuhauser Member Baxendell Member Clark Member Morey Member Wyllie Member Maloney Hahn Motion carried. This becomes Action #6 of 2014. As requested by Acting Chair Carey, the Board Secretary then read aloud Part II of the Short Environmental Assessment Form. Negative responses were obtained to all questions in Part II. A motion was then made by Member Clark that, based on the information and analysis of the SEQR concerning this application, the Town of Groton Planning Board has determined that the proposed action will not result in any significant adverse environmental impact, resulting in a Negative Declaration. The motion was seconded by Member Maloney Hahn, with the vote recorded as follows: Ayes: Acting Chair Carey Nays: None Chair Neuhauser Member Baxendell Member Clark Member Morey Member Wyllie Member Maloney Hahn Motion carried. This becomes Action #7 of 2014. With no further discussion, a motion was made by Member Mark Baxendell to approve the Minor Boundary Line Change, as requested. The motion was seconded by Member Wyllie, with the vote recorded as follows: Ayes: Acting Chair Carey Nays: None Chair Neuhauser Member Baxendell Member Clark Member Morey Member Wyllie Member Maloney Hahn Motion carried. This becomes Action #8 of 2014. ADJOURNMENT At 7:40 p.m., a motion was made by Member Baxendell to adjourn the meeting.
