OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING HELD IN THE
TOWN HALL , GROTON , N . Y .
TUESDAY , DULY 18 , 1972 AT 7 : 30 P . M.

This public hearing was called on behalf of Ella M. Stevens for a variance
of the zoning ordinance front yard restriction of 30 ft . to 10 ft . and
Notice of same was published in the official Town nespaper , the Journal and
Courier , on June 21 , 1972 . This was originally scheduled to be heard on
July 6 , 1972 at 8 : 00 P . M. but since Mrs . Stevens did not appear at that time
and the Board members wanted to obtain further information on this applica-
tion , Mr . Wargo , on the advice of Mr . Bucko , the Town Attorney , adjourned the
hearing until 7 : 30 P . M . July 18 , 1972 .
Mrs . Stevens or any members of the general public did not attend this evening .
After some discussion on the application a motion was made by Richard Bell and
seconded by George Lawrence that the variance be denied .
A Roll Call Vote on this followed :
Nays : J . Wargo G . Lawrence R . Bell G . Hoy .
The variance was denied by unanimous motion .
Mr . Wargo is to call Mr . Snell and advise him of the Board ' s decision .
