The meeting was called to order at 7930 p.m. by Acting Chair Carey,
M. Carey: Okay, it's 7 : 30 and we'll open the meeting.
Approval of Minutes - 21 January 1999 and 18 March 1999
M. Carey: First thing on the agenda (sic) is to approve the Minutes of the January 21 , 1999
meeting.
V. Rankin: I move that they be approved .
S. Clark: I second it.
M. Carey: All in favor? (All Board members present indicated they were in favor. ) Passed. And
then on the March 18, 1999 for the Public Hearing; we need to approve those Minutes.
S. Clark: I'll make a motion we pass them.
G. Van Slyke: I'll second it.
M. Carey: All in favor? (All Board members present indicated they were in favor.) Passed .
Kim & Jeffrey Langer, Applicants/dba Sirens LLC - 2 McLean-Cortland Road - Final Site Plan
Review Decision - Former Elm Tree Inn - McLean, NY - TM # 38-5- 10
M. Carey: Okay, this meeting is for Final Site Plan Approval for the application of Sirens, LLC,
as an eating and drinking establishment. A Public Hearing was held before the Town of Groton
Planning Board on March 18, 1999, and the Board made the following findings: The application has
been made by Sirens, LLC, to open an eating and drinking establishment to be located at 2 McLean-
Cortland Road, McLean, New York, A Preliminary Site Plan was filed by the applicants with the Town
of Groton on September 23, 1998 , A Preliminary Site Plan with modifications was filed with the Town
of Groton on January 15, 1999. This Preliminary Site Plan was forwarded to the Tompkins County
Department of Planning pursuant to General Municipal Law Sections 239 I and M, and a report from
that Board was received by the Town on February 25. 1999 . The subject premises is located in an M- 1
District. Does anyone else have anything they'd like to add to this?
