TOWN OF GROTON PLANNING BOARD

The purpose of the meeting was to continue the review/revision of the Town of Groton's Land Use &
Development Code, adopted September 10, 1990, specifically Article 3: Land Use Regulations., Section
341 , Land Use Activities.
The Recording Secretary is using the 'minute" format, utilizing her notes, due to a defective tape in the
tape recorder.
Chairman Totman waited until 8:05 p .m. to call the 7:30 p .m. meeting to order, in hopes that some
additional Board members would arrive . At that time, the Chairman decided to proceed with the
review of Section 341 with the help of Board Member, Monica Carey.
The review commenced on page :` 10 of Article 3 , as provided to the Board by Tracey Smith ,
Representative of the Tompkins County Planning Department.
As a result of this review and the discussion held between Chairman Totman and Board Member
Carey, the following decisions were made relative to the Land Use Activities/ Districts Where
Permitted table, starting on page 10:

as RA - L - M (no Site Plan Review indicated) .

Chairman Totman and Monica Carey agreed that a review of this item, Group Occupancy, should be
discussed at the next work session when input from more Board members could be elicited.

Chairman Totman indicated that there should be some other symbol relative to the licensing
requirement. It was decided that this should be looked into and presented at the next work session
when input from more Board members could be elicited. Monica Carey agreed.
