Dear Robin Cargian,
We are corresponding regarding the refurbishment of the parking lot at 556 Groton Road (State Route 222), in
the Town of Groton. The proposed work would be limited to resurfacing the existing lot with crushed limestone
including no alterations from the previous configuration.Additionally, the proposed work is outside of the
State's Right of way with the exception of the entrance along Route 222.
The site, including the entrance, has been reviewed and has been determined to meet the State's requirements
for an entrance along a State Highway. Since there are no changes to the dimensions or construction of the
driveway apart from surface treatment, we have no issues with the work as proposed.
