ZBA Meeting Page 2 January 14, 2026 Member Siebe explained the actions of the Environmental Management Council, an advisory board to the County Legislature, and the projects they have been working on for their 50th anniversary as a council. He emphasized the potential use of the Unique Natural Areas developed by the council within the zoning code, which are currently only used as a guideline for landowners. Should there be anyone interested in joining the council, there is room. There was a brief discussion about the Open Meetings Law and the potential for members to be counted as part of a quorum via the internet. Clerk Cargian stated that a Town Board resolution to allow this would be needed, as the executive order during COVID had expired. Should a member decide to participate in this manner, the member also needs to open the space to anyone from the public who wishes to view them where they are. It was an option. Canvassing for another zoning board member was a point to be brought to the Town Board. There being no further business to come before the ZBA, a motion to adjourn was made by Member Moll, seconded by Member Gaines, at 7:28 pm. Unanimous. Minutes submitted by Robin Cargian, Town Clerk
