Re: Review Pursuant to §239 -l, -m and -n of New York State General Municipal Law
Proposed Action: Special Use Permit for proposed solar project located at 828 South Main Street,
Tax Parcel #31.-1-12.1, John F. Young, Susan Barnett, James & Julie Young,
Owners; NY Groton Il, LLC C/O Doug Moses, Applicant.
Dear Mrs. Cargian:
This letter acknowledges your referral of the proposed action identified above for review by the
Tompkins County Department of Planning and Sustainability pursuant to §239 -l, -m and -n of the New
York State General Municipal Law.
We have determined the proposed action will have no significant county-wide or inter-community impact.
We do, however, have the following comment on the proposed action:
• We suggest that the Town request a meeting with the developer and the electric utility company
to outline the interconnection plan for this project so that the Town has the opportunity to review
and comment on the construction of the interconnection prior to interconnection becoming final.
We look forward to receiving notification on the final action taken by your municipality within 30 days of
decision, as required by State law.
