HomeMy WebLinkAbout2025-05-15Chair Brockway then read aloud Part II of the Short Environmental Assessment Form. All questions in Part II received negative responses. A motion was then made by Member Baxendell that, based on the information and analysis of the SEQR concerning this application, the Town of Groton Planning Board has determined that the proposed action will not result in any significant adverse environmental impact, resulting in a Negative Declaration. The motion was seconded by Member Carey with the vote recorded as follows: Ayes - Carey, Brockway Jr., Rose, Baxendell, Ramplin, Cerretani Resolution Passed Nays - None RESOLUTION #25-12 – TOWN OF GROTON PLANNING BOARD APPROVES THE THREE LOT SUBDIVISION APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY ED SCHEFFLER FOR 630/643 COBB ST., TAX PARCEL #24.-1-1.2. WHEREAS, the subdivision application submitted by Ed Scheffler located at 630/643 Cobb St., Tax parcel #24.-1-1.3, resulted in a three-lot Subdivision Review and, WHEREAS, the Groton Planning Board reviewed the minor subdivision application and found that all three of the requested lots met the size criteria of zoning, the Environmental Assessment was negative, and a survey would be provided by the applicant closely depicting those marked sizes, RESOLVED, that the application was approved by a Motion made by Member Carey, seconded by Member Cerretani as proposed. A New York State Survey of the subdivision will be provided by the applicant and reviewed by the Code Official before receiving the approval stamp. Ayes - Carey, Brockway Jr., Rose, Baxendell, Ramplin, Cerretani Resolution Passed Nays - None SELECT PLANNING BOARD VICE-CHAIR After a brief description of the responsibilities of a Vice Chair and noting that Member Neuhauser had relayed he was not interested, Mark Baxendell nominated new member Ryan Ramplin which was seconded by Member Rose. Ayes - Carey, Brockway Jr., Rose, Baxendell, Ramplin, Cerretani Resolution Passed Nays - None Member Ramplin accepted the nomination. There being no further business and no new information from the Town. Member Cerretani. Moved to adjourn, seconded by Member Baxendell, at 7:43 pm. Unanimous.
