She stated that the chair and vice chair positions needed to be filled for 2024. RESOLUTION #24-001 - NOMINATE CAROLANN DARLING AS ZBA CHAIR MOVED by Member Fouts, seconded by Member Gaines, to nominate Carolann Darling as the new Chair of the Town of Groton Zoning Board of Appeals. Ayes - Gaines, Fouts, Darling, Moll, Moody Nays - Resolution Passed RESOLUTION #24-002 - NOMIATE PATRICIA GAINES AS ZBA VICE CHAIR MOVED by Member Moody, seconded by Member Moll, to nominate Patricia Gaines as the new Vice Chair of the Town of Groton Zoning Board of Appeals. Ayes - Gaines, Fouts, Darling, Moll, Moody Nays - Resolution Passed RESOLUTION #24-003 - SCHEDUAL REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING DATE AND TIME AND LIAISON TO THE TOWN CLERK’S OFFICED MOVED by Member Fouts, seconded by Member Gaines RESOLVED, that the Zoning Board of Appeals sets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm as their regular meeting date and time and be it further RESOLVED, that Monica Moll is hereby appointed as liaison to the Town Clerk’s Office. Ayes - Gaines, Fouts, Darling, Moll, Moody Nays - Resolution Passed ZBA Meeting Page 2 February 21, 2024 Old Business: Discussion took place about not knowing who the recording secretary was going to be. Member Fouts was reminded that he needed to go to the Clerk’s Office to take his Oath of Office. RESOLUTION #24-004 - APPROVE MINUTES OF MARCH 15, 2023 MEETING MOVED by Member Fouts, seconded by Member Darling RESLOLVED, that the Zoning Board of Appeals hereby approves the minutes of the March 14, 2023 Organizational Meeting as presented. Ayes - Gaines, Fouts, Darling, Moll, Moody Nays - Resolution Passed Discussion took place with Town Councilperson, Brian Klumpp, concerning the proposed large solar array in Groton and Lansing.
