The meeting opened at 7:00pm
Town Clerk, Robin Cargian, read the duly published Invitation to Bid, which was printed in the Cortland
Standard, the Shopper as well as uploaded to the New York State Contract Reporter as well as the Town
of Groton website. The bid opening results on August 16, 2022 was one (1) bid duly submitted August
15, 2022 by Complete Construction Concepts out of six bid packets provided to Troy Boice, Nichole @
robex.com, JK. Dome, CCC, Conestoga, Novatech and Park Lane Construction LLC. The board reviewed
the bid, concurred with the Highway Superintendent that the requirements were satisfactory, the bond will
be provided no later than Friday August 19, 2022 and having no further questions made the following
resolution:
RESOLUTION #22-060 – AWARD BID CONTRACT FOR SALT SHED STORAGE STRUCTURE TO
COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION CONCEPTS
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby accepts and awards the bid contract for the Salt Shed Storage Structure
in the amount of $115,650.00 to Complete Construction Concepts, contingent upon receiving the performance bond.
The equipment to be furnished include 3 X 5 ply laminated columns, wall girts, trusses and brackets to attach,
headers, 29ga/80,000 tensile strength steal for roof and sidewalls, roof purlins, vented soffit, matching steel fascia,
all corners and trims as required, vented ridge vent, all bracing as per engineered plans. Funding to be drawn from
monies received from the American Rescue Plan Act.
MOVED by Supervisor Scheffler, seconded by Councilperson Klumpp
Ayes - Klumpp, Gamel, Scheffler,
Nays - Resolution Passed
There being no further business, Councilperson Gamel moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilperson
Klumpp, at 7:15 pm. Unanimous.
