Dear Jim :
I have received a complaint from both your tenant ( several weeks ago ) , and the Tompkins County
Health Department , regarding the sewage system in your former residence at 780 South Main
Street . Carol Soderholm from the Health Department has verified that it does not function
properly .
This is a clear violation of the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code , Section 1243 . 7 ,
a copy of which is enclosed for your information , This letter is formal notification that you
are to bring the property into compliance or have it vacated by 1 February 1991 ,

Dear Bruce :
I ' ve talked with Larry Stewart and believe he will be asking you to prepare the final map
showing only one new parcel - - namely , the piece surrounding the existing house . By creating
only one division , and keeping both of the resulting parcels as conforming lots ( i , e . , at
least 200 feet of frontage and one acre ) , he can avoid the subdivision routine .
I would like one copy of the final map and the date it is recorded for my building permit file .
