W. Rick Fritz, Code/Fire Enforcement Officer - Submitted monthly reports for the Board's
review. We’ve been busy doing Life Safety Inspections and a few people who are closing out their
building permits. It’s been busy this month.
Michael Perkins, Highway Superintendent - Was not present but a report was given for him by
Ellard Keister.
Ellard Keister (Highway Superintendent Elect) - We don’t have much to report. Getting
everything checked out and ready for winter. We are buttoning up our big projects out on the
roads and in transition time, getting ready for the snow.
April L. Scheffler, RMC, Town Clerk/Tax Collector - Submitted monthly reports for the
Board's review. Denise started on November 1st and she is learning all the programs and doing
really well. She will be a good addition to the office. A call was received from a man who has a
plot in Peruville Cemetery and his wife has passed away. The name is shown on the map that we
have. The Clerk and Mr. Keister will visit the cemetery, locate the plot, and contact the lot owner.
Francis Casullo, Attorney for the Town - Had nothing to report.
John J. Norman, Town Justice - Was not present.
Councilperson Crystal Young as Representative to Joint Youth Program - We had a meeting
in October. Jennifer is continuing to do a great job with all the fall and winter programing,
basketball, wrestling, baby sitting classes, etc. Cabin Fever is planned for Saturday, March 5th and
she just heard that the grant she submitted was accepted, so she got $1,000 towards that. We are
meeting monthly with the Legion about the concerts for next year and she has put in a grant for
that as well. We’re looking at sponsorships for the concert series so that maybe we can have some
more popular bands that we couldn’t otherwise afford.
