G . Totman , Chairman , opened the meeting at 8 : 05 p . m . Verl Rankin,;- make the
motion the minutes of the September 16 , 1986 meeting be approved , M . Carey
seconded the motion . Motion carried and minutes were approved .
SITE PLAN REVIEW for a proposed Taxidermy service made by Joseph
Aloi , Jr . of 1130 Old Stage Road , Town of Groton :
TOTMAN : Mr . Aloi is asking approval for a taxidermy business on Old Stage Rd .
Is that for all kinds of animals ?
ALOI : No , I specialize in fish and game animals . I had been established
in Genoa before I came here . Mostly deer and elk .
CAREY : Where exactly are you located , I am confused by this map .
ALOI : Just before Harvards and the County line . We have 3 . 5 acres , it is
divided into two lots .
POST : It looks pretty straight forward , you are not putting on any
additions , there will be no traffic jams .
ALOI : Last year I had five customers .
VERL RANKIN made the motion the Board approve the application of
JOSEPH J . ALOI , JR . on 1130 Old Stage Rd . for a Taxidermy business ; MICHAEL
POST seconded the motion .
VOTE : All in favor
Motion carried .
TOTMAN : To my knowledge there is no new business . I do know Teresa has been
in contact with the County Planning Board and asked them to start
looking into help with writing up and incorporating the Mobile Home
Ordinance in our regular Ordinance . To my knowledge , so far , they
have not started anything on it yet . Gary Wood suggested to me , that
if they do , .-, .in fact , get that in progress , then we could take care
of some of the inequities we have 'at the same time .
RANKIN : You ' re saying they plan to incorporate the Mobile Home Ordinance
in the master Ordinance ?

RANKIN0 Then we would more or less handle all the hearings ?
TOTMANt I think that is one of the reasons they are doing it . It wasn ' t meant
to be that way in the beginning , the way it is now .
NANCY OSTRANDER , made the motion the meeting be adjourned ; MONICA
CAREY seconded the motion ; all were in favor , motion carried . The meeting
was adjourned until the next regular meeting of the Planning Board on the
third Tuesday of November , being November 18 , 1986 , at 8t00 p . m .
