G . Totman , Chairman , opened the meeting . Minutes of the July , 1985
were approved as presented .
Hora-Zuk Subdivision Application :
The Zuk owned property is located on Spring Street Extension , west
of Cobb Street , Groton , New York . Ann Hora As acting administrator ,
applied for a subdivision of three ( 3) to;ts :
# 1 lot having 8 . 7 acres
#2 lot having 10 . 5 acres
#3 lot having 21 acres . .
Official survey maps were submitted . J . Henry , Hora ' s attorney ,
noted a change of the actual footage on two of the lots . This would
change the acreage amounts . V . Rankin made a motion to classify the
Hora Subdivision as a Rural Land Division defined in Section 202 . 3 ,
M . Carey seconded the motion .
VOTE _: All in favor '

Roger Gleason Rural Subdivision Application
G . Totman : At the last meeting, R . Gleason asked fora division
bf a certain lot into five parcels . We . questioned
whether this was a Rural or Major Subdivision .
Roger asked if he changed the application to two large
lots rather than five ( 5) five acre lots if ' we would
accept the application .
There was a short discussion then V . Rankin made a motion that if
R . Gleason changed the number of lots from five ( 5) to two ( 2 ) larger
parcels and the correct paperwork and survey maps are compiled we would
accept the revised application . C . Twigg seconded the motion .
VOTE : All in favor
Motion Carried
Hatch Application for a Special Permit :
Raymond and Donald Hatch want to put a print shop in the basement of
the Hatch house located on Cortland Road , Route 366 , just north of .the
McLean five corners . This is a low intensity district .

The ordinance does not clearly define a print shop activity under
any classification in Section 351 so G . Totman will check with Gary Wood ,
Zoning Enforcement Officer , as to the legal description .
If it is found to be under an activity not allowed in a low intensity
district , the application will be denied . If it is permitted with a site
plan review , the members will be notified and a public hearing will be
held on September 17 , 1985 at 7 ; 30 P . mM .
