NEW BUSINESS
Peter Goodsell, Applicant (dba Goodsell Services LLC)/Paul McCarty, Reputed Owner - 556
Cortland Road (NYS Route 222) - TM #121.-l-20.12 - Proposed Business
Chairman Mark Baxendell recognized the applicant who explained that he had started this business
two years ago at the old train depot, and gave his history to the Board. He stated he had worked at
Pall, in Cortland, for quite some time, and Pall was now out -sourcing their water filtration equipment
assembly and he had that work. There is no fabricating done at this location, all that is done is
assembly of the system. It is not a retail business. Wooden pallets are left over from the assembly,
and they are given away, he said. The business is growing and he plans to add more employees.
In response to Member Carey's question, Mr. Goodsell stated he had six employees now and is
expecting to hire four more. When asked about truck traffic, Mr. Goodsell responded that they will get
a couple of trucks every "once in awhile."
