MINUTES OF SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON MONDAY, MARCH 1.1, 1991 Q 5:0OPM

John J. Fitzgerald, Attorney for Town
Absent': Donald E. Cummings, Councilman
Also present: Lyle Raymond, George Totman
Meeting was called by Supervisor Robinson for 5:0OPM.
Air. E. Lewis Sovocool made the motion to go into executive session,
seconded by Mr. Carl Haynes. The issue was on personnel and procedures.

RESOLUTION N0. 14 - APPEAL CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER'S ACTION TO
GRANT BUILDING PERMIT TO HERBERT TICHENOR
Moved by Air. Sovocool, seconded by Mr. Haynes
Ayes - Sovocool, VanBenschoten, Haynes, Robinson
Absent - Cummings
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Groton does hereby
request that John J. Fitzgerald, Attorney for Town, prepare an
application to file an appeal for a review with the Groton
Appeals Board on the action of the Code Enforcement Officer in
regard to the granting of a building permit to the Tichenor's
on January 9, 1991.
Moved by Air. Haynes, seconded by Mr. VanBenschoten, to adjourn meet' dzg
at 6:15.'M. Unanimous.

Code Enforcement Officer and Assistant

Highway Superintendent
Supervisor called meeting to provide Town employees with information
on rules not being following in regards to zoning procedures. Procedures
must be followed by everyone to make it work. New Zoning Ordiance has
• been printed and already has some errors. All Boards should review ordinance
and attend a joint meeting to discuss changes or additions. Supervisor will
call a ineeting in about one month of all Boards to go over ordinance.
Supervisor will distribute procedures to all involved.
