was suggested that the
Association of Towns may be
able to provide us
with
sample policies that we
could tailor to suit our needs.
Copy of proposed Fire Budget was resriewed by Board Members. Several questions
need answering so it was suggested that Glennie Munson come in and explain
budget.
Mr. Sovocool moved to adjourn meeting at 6:OOPM until Monday, October 23,
1989, at 4:OOPM at which time the Board will review budget. Seconded by
Mr. Haynes. Ayes - Sovocool, VanBenschoten, Cummings, Haynes, Robinson.

MINUTES OF TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD MONDAY, OCTOBER 23, 19891 AT 4:00 P.M.
(Continuation of October 16th meeting.)
Those present: Teresa M. Robinson, Supervisor
Ellard L. Sovocool, Councilman
Gordon C. VanBenschoten, Councilman
Donald E. Cummings, Councilman
Carl E. Haynes, Councilman
Also present: Leland Cornelius, Glennie Munson
Purpose of meeting was to have Glenn Munson explain Fire and Ambulance
Budgets and to review Town Tentative Budget,
Glennie Munson explained that the Town & Village are on different calandar
years. This budget doesn't show Village Capital Reserve Fond of $15,000 for
fire alarm systems. Village owns three trucks. Village is part owner of the
Department. Answered 500 alarms last year -- not broken down between Village
and Town. Fire Department will provide copy of Annual Report if Town desires.
Supervisor Robinson presented Tentative Budget to Board and the proposed
rate increases. Board spent the evening going over budget item by item
and making adjustments accordingly.
Moved by Mr. Sovocool, seconded by Mr. VanBenschoten, to accept tentative
budget as preliminary budget with adjustments as noted.
Ayes - Sovocool, VanBenschoten, Cummings, Haynes, Robinson.
There being no further business, Air. Sovocool moved for adjournment,
seconded by Mr. Haynes, at 7:10 P.M. Unanimous,
