ZooVolunteer Fire Co., Inc. 1948 Mr. William Mather Supervisor Town of Enfield 168 Enfield Main Rd. Ithaca, NY 14850 Dear Bill We discussed. at our general meeting on 1/2/97, the issue you raised about the Town Board using the Enfield Fire -Company meeting room to hold monthly Board meetings during the months of January through April. Many issues were raised by the membership with specific questions of the impact on the basic operation of the Fire Company. With the best interest of the Town in mind, I have been directed, by the membership, to research what impact this will have on the fire company's operations and to hold off on voting until such impact study has been adequately completed. A committee has been appointed to investigate the impact of holding Town Board meetings at the EVFC. In the interim, we have checked the availability of using the school. It is available for public use with the only restriction being that the meetings must adjourn by 10:00 p.m. Since I'm sure you'll want to move on this as quickly as possible (being January), you may contact Amy Ruta in the school office, for more information and forms to complete.
