HomeMy WebLinkAboutAppendix_C_-_Turbine_Information.pdfThe REpower MM100 is based on the well-established REpower MM series. As such, it incorporates all the
experience and expertise derived from our 2,000 operational REpower MM70, MM82 and MM92 wind turbines.
50 Hz: With its longer blades the MM100 produces high yields in low wind speed areas. The increased swept area
of the rotor captures the wind more effectively and thus results in excellent returns over the entire service life.
60 Hz: With its high net capacity factor, the new variant has been optimized to achieve rated power even at low
wind speeds. This enables the wind farm to secure a constant power supply, making efficient use of the avilable grid
capacity.
Due to our leading technology and innovative solutions, REpower’s wind turbines are capable of fulfilling the most
demanding grid codes.
The REpower MM100 has a swept rotor area of 7,854 square meters and is available with a hub height from 80 m to
100 m. It has been specifically optimized for use in regions with low wind speeds and operates with an outstanding
low sound power level of max. 104.8 dB(A).
By choosing REpower turbines, you are selecting power plant technology of the highest quality. To ensure that your
investment retains its value, we offer comprehensive after-sales service.
Our permanent monitoring system monitors your power plants 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. This guarantees that
our locally based service teams respond in the shortest time possible. We also offer integrated service packages
(ISP-onshore and OSP-offshore) that allow our customers to set long-term operating costs.
We are constantly upgrading our services to meet the increasingly stringent requirements of monitoring, documenting
and optimizing the operational behavior of wind farms. Our REguard package offers a comprehensive modular
windfarm management system that can be flexibly configured to suit local factors, ensuring efficient operation of
your plant at all times.
