ECLIPSES, 1895-
Five Eclipses occur this year, two of the Moon and three
of the Sun, as follows:
I. ATotal Eclipse of the Moon. March 10, visible in North
and South America, Europe and Western Asia.
II. A Partial Eclipse of the Sun. March 26, i lsi dl and
in
the United States; visible in Western Europe,
Western Spain, Portugal and France ; also in the north-
eastern provinces of British America.
III. A Partial Eclipse of the Sun, Aug. 2o, invisible in
America; visible in Northwestern Asia and Europe east
of St. Petersburg. visible in
IV. A Total Eclipse of the Moon, Sept. 3 and 4,
North and South America, Western Euurope and Africa.
V. A Partial Eclipse of the Sun, , w Zealand and the Sept.
