~ January 7th, 1980 Enfield Ladies Aux. Meeting The regular meeting of the E.L.A. was called to order by Vice Pres. Emily Warren at 7:12. The salute to the flag was followed ;by a prayer from our Chaplin, Fern Ferris. Roll was called with 15 members present. The minutes were read and approved. The treasurer's report was read and approved with a balance of $1201.66'. Delegate's Report: Fern Ferris and Lena Everhart'reported on T.C.A. Banquet at the Party House, on Dec. 6th. 24 members were present. Very comfortable room with bar and dining room, the food was very ,good,, prices reasonable, the girls all seemed to enjoy themselves. Lena Everhart noted that we should keep the Party House in mind for our installation of officers Banquet.' January County Meeting will be the 24th. in Ithaca. communications: (none) 0 App's. for New Members: (none) old Business. County inquired as to what month we will host meeting, members present agreed on October again this year. Our Jan dance will be on the 26th. App's. for New Members: (none) Old Business:) Annabelle Seamon expressed her idea for having a "get aquainted" dish to pass dinner for Life Members and possibly some kind of enternment for the girls. She suggested we do omething special for our Life Members to get them involved again nd to get acquainted. She then asked for suggestions from members lresent. Joyce Bleiweiss suggested we start a "Big -Sister Program" hare ideas, have discussions on what the Auxiliary is doing and eep the girls up to date on any special projects or fund raisers for 4icemen , that we may be involved in. Make the Aux. more of a "Sister 400d Relationship". to get our life members involved again. Annabelle ended discussion saying that we would discuss this topic F more at our March meeting and set a date in May for the dish -to -pass.
