I recently came across a School Program in the Enfield Historians Collection and thought I would share it. This program was from the Townline School and Bostwick School at the Townline
School House – November 30, 1925. Bostwick School was District #11 (Harvey Hill), located north side of Harvey Hill Road west of Route 327. (62 Harvey Hill Road). We assume that the
Townline School was District #12, in the Town of Hector district with Enfield children attending. There is a school in District 15 of the Town of Hector, at the end of Harvey Hill Road
in the Town of Hector. This school was moved to the Alton Culver farm on Mecklenburg Road after it was no longer used as a schoolhouse. Need to research the numbers on these schools!
The program Involved singing of songs such How Do You Do? All Cheer our Pilgrim Fathers, Thanksgiving Song. Plays: Play Upon Words, Hiawatha, Thanksgiving. Recitations: Nature’s Thanks.
