Albert Pawling’s New York Regiment and in Captain Daniel DeLong’s Company in Colonel William Malcom’s NY Regiment and in Captain Moodie’s company in Colonel John Lamb’s Regiment of Artillery, continued in the service until the close of the war. During his service he was in the Battle of Stony Point and in several skirmishes near West Point. His widow, Margaret Tompkins, was allowed pension on her application executed Mar. 15, 1841 at which time she was a resident of Batavia, Genessee County, NY“with some of her children.” but she did not give their names.
