Bryant, Justice of the Supreme Court for the 6th Judicial District of the State of NY approve the foregoing Certificate of Incorporation and filing thereof. November 29, 1976. The 1980 “Enfield News” newsletter changed its name by 1994 to the “Enfield Community Currents” newsletter. The newsletter is still currently (2025) being published at least 3 times a year. In 1999 ECC No longer sponsored the after school program at Enfield Elementary School. YMCA was selected as the 1999/2000 provider for the after school daycare program. The Name changed to Enfield School Age Program. The ECC Summer Camp Program was also held at the Enfield Community Building (182 Enfield Main Road), later returned to Enfield Elementary School, and in 2009 moved to Robert H. Treman State Park. After the ECC purchased its new Community Building at 162 Enfield Main Road in 2001, the camp eventually transitioned there, where it continues to be held as of 2025. The Harvest Festival continues to be held each year (2025). It was originally hosted at the Enfield Grange and Fire Hall. In 1999, the event moved to the Enfield Elementary School before returning to the Grange and Fire Hall until 2003. Beginning in 2004, the Festival was once again held at the Elementary School, where it remained until the ECC purchased its new building in 2011. Helen Hetherington (nee Jackson) started the Sampler Luncheon in 1977 at the Annual Enfield Harvest Festival. There were usually 40 to 50 different food dishes provided by the community. Samples of the dish could be bought from between 5 and 25 cents. With every sample participants tasted, they would receive a copy of the individual recipe. The last Sampler Luncheon was in 1986. In 1987 the first Chicken Barbecue was held sponsored by the Enfield Volunteer Fire Company and Enfield Ladies Auxiliary. In 2014 the first Country Faire was held in May at the Enfield Elementary School – pig roast, Basket Raffle, vendors, games, Enfield history, agriculture. This Faire was held until 2019. In 2020 the Community Council canceled their events due to Covid 19 restrictions. In 2021 the Enfield Community Council purchased the Living Water Baptist Church, 162 Enfield Main Road.
