Dodds, pas- tor of the First Presbyterian Church, performed the ceremony. The brine, given m marriage by her father, was attired In a dress of dusty rose velveteen, with which she wore a corsage of Talisman roses. Her sister-in-law and attend- ant, Mrs. Judson Tutton of Varna, wore a navy blue crepe gown with a corsage of gardenias. Howard Tutton, brother of the bride, was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held In the Old Hundred. The bride is a graduate of Ith- aca High School and Auburn City Hospital. Mr, Sayers Is a guard In Woodbourne Prison. Mr. and Mrs. Sayers will reside In Monticello. Pre -nuptial events for the bride Include a shower given by the pri vate duty nurses of Memorial Hos-' petal at the home of Mrs. Arlene Baker and a shower given by mem- bers of Hawthorn Rebekah Lodge at the home of Mrs. Edward Mur- phy. Rychlick—Elston Miss Blanche M. Elston, daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Fred, M. Elston of 321 S. Geneva St., and Joseph L. Rychllck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rychlick of Binghamton, were mar- ried at 4 p, m, Saturday In the Rectory of the Church of the Im- maculate Conception. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Perkins and Mrs. Perkins of 113 Irving Place, became the bride of Sergeant Anthony F. Melfl, son of Mrs. Eliza- beth Molii of Fulton, at 8:30 p, m. Saturday. The ceremony took place in the main post chapel of Fort Knox, Ky., and was performed by the chaplain, the Rev. P. A. Lane, The bride, given in marriage by Private First Class Ralph Cerame, was dressed In a white lace gown and train, and wore a finger tip veil. Her shower bouquet was of white roses. Mrs. Cerame, the former Miss Theresa Yongo of Ithaca, was mat- ron of honor. She was attired In an olive-green net gown, which she wore over taffeta, and which was i trimmed with accordion plaited ' taffeta on the bodice. InJher hair I was a flame carnation, and, she carried a bouquet of yellow and orange carnations. Sergeant Glenn Allen was best ni n, and Deroy Dubois Anderson of Tndlana )vas usher. The bride, a graduate of Ithaca High School, attended Cornell, where she was a member of the Newman Club, Conrad Club, Figure Skating Club, and Kappa Delta sorority. Sergeant Melfi and his bride will make their home at Fort Knox, Ky. Pre -nuptial events for the bride Include a personal shower given by Miss Miriam and Miss Virginia Seery, a shower given by Mrs. L. y W. BRUCE ROBINSON Miss Arliss Olney, daughter of Mrs. Arthur Sovocool of 421 N. Albany St, and Bruce Robinson, son of Mrs. Miht Robinson of 333 Center St, were married Thurs- day at the home of the bride's mother. The Rev, Edward I Christie, pastor of the First Congregational' Church, performed the ceremony. Attired in a navy blue gown with powder blue accessories, the bride I was given in marriage by her step- i father, Arthur Sovocool. Her flow- ers were white roses and lavendar hyacinth. The bridesmaid, Miss Pauline Leonard of 226 S. Cayuga St„ was dressed in powder blue and wore navy blue accessories. Her flowers were white sweet peas and dark red roses. The bride's mother was gowned In powder blue, and wore navy blue accessories and pink roses and blue sweet peers. Mrs. Robinson, mother of the bridegroom, wore EL maroon -colored dress, navy ac- cessories, and a corsage like that of Mrs. Sovocool. Everett Robinson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony, there was a reception for approximately 30 guests. A graduate of Ithaca High School the bride is employed at the Asi- atic Restaurant. Mr. Robinson, also a graduate of Ithaca High School, is an employe of Cornell University. He and his bride will reside at 222 N.
