Zammrtt, A former Truma.na-
burg Central School athlete,
entered the service Apr. 14, leaving
here only flee weeks ago with a
Boa.n-i 495 contingent. Before in-
duction, he was a section hand
with the Lehigh Valley Railroad:
Company.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Olive Zammett; his mother, Mrs.
Anthony Zammett of Geneva;
three bothers, Victor of the U. S.
Marine Corps, Anthony Jr., of thec
I'. S. Army, and John of Auburn,
and a sister, Mrs. Ernest Wellin
of Trumansburg.
Arthur E. Bouton Post, Amer-
ican Legion, will participate in
military funeral services in St.
James Catholic Chui ch, Trumans-
burg, at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial
will be in St, James Cemetery.
Zammett is the first Trumans-
burg man to die in the armed
services.
