Anna and William Jones owned and operated this "Red and White" Grocery store
located in Enfield Center. We have receipts in the historian’s collection from the store.
1950 is the latest dated receipt from the J.C.Stowell Co. wholesale grocers, tobacco,
and candy. One of the earliest receipts is 1934 from The Candy House – W.J. Teeter,
Jobbing Confectioner. Other store receipts are Cayuga Fruit Co, wholesale, fruits,
vegetables and bananas; Swift and Company, 202 Taughannock Boulevard; Ithaca
Bottling Works; Arctic Ice Cream and Milk Co. All these stores were located out of
Ithaca. William died in 1945 and Anna died in 1959. If you have any memories of this
