In-Person and the Enfield Town Courthouse & Via the Zoom Meeting Platform
Present: Chairman Dan Walker; Planning Board Members, Rich Teeter, Henry Hansteen, Michael Carpenter; Planning
Board Alternate Greg Hutnik; Code Officer Alan Teeter; Town Clerk Mary Cornell
Excused: Planning Board Member Ann Chaffee.
Call to Order: Chairman Walker called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM
Minutes: R. Teeter motioned and M. Carpenter seconded to approve the Nov 6, 2024 Meeting Minutes.
Discussion of Planning Board Recommendation for 2025 Planning Board Appointment –
Recommendations for Planning Board Vacancies, One Vacancy for a Regular Planning Board Member and One Vacancy
for an Alternate Planning Board Member. Mike Carpenter had expressed interest in being reappointed and will send a
letter of interest to Clerk Cornell. The Planning Board recommends reappointed Carpenter. Clerk Cornell will post the
vacancy notice for both the Regular Planning Board Member and the Alternate Position on the Town Website with a
deadline of January 1, 2025.
Letter from Tompkins County Agriculture & Farmland Protection Board.
Dan W - They are concerned with the loss of viable Farmland for Solar Farms. The IDA is looking to make it less enticing
for Solar Farms by increasing PILOT rates and the AFOB commends this action. This was an information letter they are
not asking for input from the Planning Board. Discussion continued.
Comprehensive Plan checklist & discussion: The Board went over the checklist by category and section and will continue
to review at the next Planning Board Meeting.
Adjournment: Hansteen motioned to adjourn, adjourned at 8:39 PM
