Dear John,
June 16, 1975
As you know Sunday was our first visit to your track;
and all the reports we had heard were confirmed to be correct.
We are very impressed with the track. We can see that a large
degree of planning and effort have gone into developing of the
facility.
I would like to pass along some of the comments and
complaints that were voiced to me at the race Sunday, that I
feel do warrant some attention.
1. Better control of riders at chutes leading to starting line.
You should have several track officals on the line at all times -
W.N.Y.S.C. referees will assist them.
2. Flag men should have some instruction before the race as to
how to flag and what to do in case of a problem. - Also I think
a minimum age limit should be enforced - perhans 13 or 14.
3. A more strategic location of scorers - one that would enable
starter to see both start and finish of race. ( Sports Committee
may purchase 2 way radios which would solve the communication
problem. (Hopefully before your next race.)
We wish you much success with your venture and we will be
ready to assist you in any way we can - please feel free to
contact us is needed.
Sincerely,
Joe Ka ner'-'f
