ENFIELD -For the third, and
next to last time this year, the
Enfield Dirt Digoers hosted the
motorcycle races at their track.
They also played host to 15 boys
and 2 leaders from Camp Mc-
Cormick who, enjoyed the day
very much.
John Juber and Wayne Snyder
ran the starts smoothly. Since the
last race, a lot of work had been
put into the track to make it a
better place to race. TThis and
done by members,
the Smiths.
The only serious injury was
broken leg suffered by
Myers of Arkport. He had just
had another cast removed a few
days prior to the race.
As usual, all three Smith boys,
Jeff, Norman and Ted raced. And
Pros present were George
heldrake, J. Massara,
Robinson and Bob Thompson.
Enfielder Biff Newhart raced
for the second time Sunday and
took 4th place in the 250 Novice.
Racer Clark Gee celebrated his
16th birthday at the track with a
delicious chocolate cake.
