Roy Hubbell and Brian Marion came to the race with clean bike after an all night scrubbing job. The race the day before at Alberta Park in Macedon covered the boys and the bikes with mud. In spite of the mud, Roy look a 1st place trophy for 250 Amateurs and Brian a Ist place for 125 Amateur. Dan Fish was there also but his bike broke. Local talent picking up trophies at their home track for the first time were Glenn Snyder, Roy Hubbell and Ted Smith. „—& RACERS RODE IN- CLUDING — Minis, 14-100 Class. 41-125 Novice, 40-125 Amateur, 6- 250 Novice, 27-250 Amateur, I& Open Am., 9 -Open Expert, 14-250 Expert and 14-125 Expert. Dirt Diggers winning Sunday Nere: Dlini Class 1st, Todd In- man, 3rd Jeff Smith. 125 Novice 61h Steve VanNederynen. 125 Novice 3rd Glenn Snyder. 250 Novice 4th Biff Newhart and 6th David McGraw. 250 Amateru 151 Roc Hubbell, 3rd Ted Smith, 70 ENFIELD -For the third, and next to last time this year, the Enfield Dirt Digoers hosted the motorcycle races at their track. They also played host to 15 boys and 2 leaders from Camp Mc- Cormick who, enjoyed the day very much. John Juber and Wayne Snyder ran the starts smoothly. Since the last race, a lot of work had been put into the track to make it a better place to race. TThis and done by members, the Smiths. The only serious injury was broken leg suffered by Myers of Arkport. He had just had another cast removed a few days prior to the race. As usual, all three Smith boys, Jeff, Norman and Ted raced. And Pros present were George heldrake, J. Massara, Robinson and Bob Thompson. Enfielder Biff Newhart raced for the second time Sunday and took 4th place in the 250 Novice. Racer Clark Gee celebrated his 16th birthday at the track with a delicious chocolate cake.
