If you're a regular follower of
these races you'll know that
nothing gets in the way of the
racer. Not weather, not injurles
and not celebrations. It's not
uncommon to see a delicious
birthday cake being offered to
bt Cowd riders as was the
case last week. Della Snyder
baked the cake and birthday
celebraters were Glenn Snyder,
Mark Pagliaro and Glenn
Marion.
Saturday, October 25, 1975 was

Over 1000 racers participated
this year at the Dirt Diggers
Track. A note of sincere ap-
preciation is extended to all the
'racers, to Bangs Ambulance, the
Enfield Fire Company, Partner's
Markel, Newhart's Store, Jake's
Tastee Freeze and all the people
who come early and stay late. To
the people who help during the
races, the flaggers, the starters,
the scorekeepers, the an-
nouncers, the cooks, the
registrants and the clean up
crews, another note of thanks for
their dedication.
The Enfield Dirt Diggers are
very very proud of their first full
year as track hosts. They intend
to combine their experience of
this first year with their en-
thusiasm for next year and make
next year's racing season an even
better one.
Now officially one race season
old, the Dirt Diggers have
received complaints and com-
pliments. The roar of the
machines lingers in the hollows of
this small hamlet causing
disturbance to some of its long
time residents. And half way up
the hill of the Enfield Center
Road entire families gather with
their friends, watching their kids
race, sharing in their wins and
,heir defeats. The solation:
