Fluffy Lemon Frosting
2 egg whites (unbeaten) 2 tbsp, lemon juice
1z C. su_ar 1 tsp. mrsted lemon
3 Qsp. water rind
^ombine egg whites, suSer and water
an! lemon juice in double boiler. Seat
..qUl well mixed. look over rPpidly boiling
rater, bentin; sonstantl^ 7 minutes or un-
til etands in stiff :eake. Stir up through
occacionelly. Remove from bollins water.
Add lemon rind and beat 1 minute or until
thick enough to spread.
Makes enough for 2 8-inch layers.

Icing
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Iream butter Pnd sugar together.
Add flour, then cream end vanilla.

Molasses Caney
1 c. molasses 1 tbgp. vinegar
I c. brown sugar Small pleca o: bu;.tcr
Mix together. Boil without stirr!W
until it h-rdens when tested in cold water,
Add:
1/4 tsp. soda
Remove from fire. Four into buttered
p=n. Cool enou^h to h-ndle. Full by hand
until cAndy begins to h-rden. Cut in f-
inch lengths.

' Never Fall Creamy Fudge
Melt piece butter (size of small egg;
with 2 squaree chocolate . Ahen melted,
add 7/e c, rich milk. Let cook until
r-ther thick find looks like pudding. Add
2 e. white sugar. Stir well until it
starts to boil. Cook to soft bill stage.
Cool to lukewarm and then beat. Add nuts.
Four on buttered plate.

Mix all together and boil until it form, -

1 tall can evaporated milk
Stir constantly and boil 9 minutes.
Remove from heat and add:

1/3 c, white corn 1 tsp. vanilla
syrup s c. butter
Boil sugar, syrag and water to
medium crpck stage 280 Take off heat
and edd salt, fl?voring and butter. Mix
and pour ever popped corn, stirring ^orn
with spoon to coat kernels. Shape into
balls.

Drop from tip of spoon on buttered cookie
sheet 1 inch apart. Bake 15 minutes in a
moderate oven 3500F.
