RUTH M. LOIKKEN
Ruth Lokken, age 87,
died peacefully Thursday
May 6, 2004 at Bethany
Manor in Horseheads NY.
She was born in the
Town of Enfield NY,
daughter of Harry and
Dora Horton Warren. She
lived in Trumansburg NY
where she and her hus-
band owned a farm. They
took great pride in the
barn they built and the
land they owned. Upon
moving, they had residen-
ces in Ithaca NY, New Port
Richey FL, and
Horseheads.
Ruth was a precious
wife, mom, sister, grand-
mother and another -in-law.
She had been a bookkeep-
er for many years, several
being at Cornell Universi-
ty. She was an avid reader,
and enjoyed knitting and
needle point. Two great
passions of hers were
crossword puzzles and
Playing Scrabble with her
granddaughter and
daughter-in-law. She was
excellent at both.
Ruth was predeceased by
her beloved husband
Edwin, and her dear
brother Donald. She is
survived by her son and
daughter-in-law: Edwin &
Michele Lokken of
Horseheads, NY ; grand-
daughter : Karen Lokken
of New York City ; her
brothers and sisters-in-
law: Charles & Janet War-
ren of Mecklenburg , NY ;
Lyman & Elizabeth McFall
Warren of Enfield , NY and
Elnora (Mrs. Donald)
Warren of Mecklenburg ,
NY ; and dear friend of
many years, Betty Traxler
of New Port Richey , Flori-
da. She is also survived by
many nieces and nephews

are incomplete.
