He is going to issue a temporary permit to allow you to get on the site at the planned location and start work(assuming you are doing with work with highway dept) They are in a fight with the Syracuse office over who can issue driveway permits so he wants me to add some notes and changes and will likely have to send it off to Syracuse for final permit approval. He doesn't see a problem with it moving however as site distances look ok to him. I will add the additional info and forward on for final approval but the Syracuse office doesn't move very rapidly so it could take time to get final OK. If you need to get going sooner he can issue a temporary access permit(something like what they give to farmers to get on the site at a new location)so you can begin work prior to getting the final driveway permit. I'said Istill would rather see the final permit issued in case they changed their minds later and you did work that; was wasted. He said that he checked and Enfield has proper insurance for work in the Right of'Way and he should be able to waive the permit fee. I signed the application as "for the Town of Enfield" . He is not in today—but will have more info next week to see how long it will take to get approval.
