The stone bathhouse at Lower Enfield
partially withstood the ravages of the
flood Monday, but this photo is mute
evidence of the damage caused by the
raging waters of Enfield Creek which

tore out the foundation of the building
and cut a new channel through the
lower section of the park. Park offi-
cials are unable, as yet, to estimate the
damage.
