These pictures of the flood of 1935 and the damage it caused in
Ithaca and other areas of Tompkins County are from the snap-
;, shot files of Robert H. Head. They have been in his files for 20
years and have not been previously published. A story about the
flood appeared in Friday's edition.
A SINGLE WALL of the brick block that was Holton's
Drug. Store remains standing as mute testimony of the
damage inflicted in Trumansburg's village square. Its
main- channel closed by the wreckage of buildings,
Trum`ansburg Creek ripped through the heart of the
village carrying off at least five structures and leaving
