Dan Walker called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m.
Ann Chaffee made a motion to accept the minutes of the December 2, 2015, meeting.
Calvin Rothermich seconded the motion. Minutes passed unanimously.
Dan Walker reported on the December 17 Enfield Town Boar Meeting regarding the
Black Oak Wind Farm. Residents voiced their concerns regarding many topics on the
wind farm including profits and Black Oak Wind Farm legal document for neighbor’s
agreement. He reported that Teeter’s on Black Oak Road, backed out of the project. A
supplemental Environmental Impact Statement will be needed.
Craig Hammond presented his survey plan maps for a new parcel at 74 N. Applegate
Road tax map # 5.-2-5.42. He stated there is no farming on the land just open brush.
He will be building one house. A public hearing will be set up for the next meeting
February 3 to review the SEQR application for the Hammond parcel.
There was discussion on windmill vs. solar panel members giving their opinions on
which is cheaper, more effective and many more questions.
Dan Walker reported that the Local Law #3-2015 “Creation and Affirmation of Existence
of Planning Board, Authorizing Procedures Relating to the Appointment and use of
Alternate Members, and Reducing Size of Existing Planning Board from Seven to Five
Members”, was approved by the Town Board on December 9, 2015. He stated the law
along with reducing membership to 5 members, it gave the Town Board the right to
appoint 2 alternative members if needed.
Alan Teeter reported the subdivision which occurred on Podunk Road, came back with
a change to one of the lot lines. It was a minor change so he approved the change.
Ann Chaffee made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Calvin Rothermich seconded the
motion. Meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
