PRESENT: Virginia Bryant, Ann Chaffee, Stephen Givin, Calvin Rothermich, Marie Vandemark,
Dan Walker

Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m.
Calvin Rothermich made a motion to accept the minutes of the September 5 meeting. Dan Walker
seconded the motion. Minutes passed unanimously.
Stephen Givin made a motion to accept the minutes of the September 19 meeting. Ann Chaffee
seconded the motion. Minutes passed unanimously.
Overview of the Comprehensive Plan Survey
Virginia Bryant thanked Judy Hyman, Sue Thompson, Beth McGee and Nancy Spero for their
involvement in moving the Survey forward to place in the Community Newsletter and on the Enfield
Web site.
Stephen Givin, Marie Vandemark, and Virginia Bryant were at the Enfield Harvest Festival
September 22, to handout surveys. They handed out approximately 40 surveys to interested
residents.
It was suggested to place an ad on Haefele TV regarding the survey. Sue Thompson will
contact Haefele to place the ad.
Beth McGee volunteered to record the responses of the survey into a n excel spread sheet.
She will combine the online responds and paper copy responses together.
Virginia Bryant asked for reports from any of the committees regarding the Comprehensive
Plan. There were no reports given.
Site Plan Review – Mr. Tallman – 364 Trumbull Corners Road
The Board reviewed the Site Plan Review Application from Mr. Tallman regarding converting
the basement of an existing apartment building to a new three bedroom apartment. There was
discussion on the plan. Alan Teeter said he saw no problems with the plan. Dan Walker made a
motion to approve the application of Mr. Tallman. Ann Chaffee seconded the motion. The motion
was passed unanimously.
Virginia Bryant will contact Scott Doyle regarding the Comprehensive Plan, Tompkins County
Planning Department. He was asked to submit suggestions to the Planning Board regarding the
Comprehensive Plan and she had not heard back from him.
Privilege of the Floor - Nancy Spero asked about committees have meetings after the results of the
survey were compiled. Virginia Bryant answered committees would start meeting after they received
the suggestions from Scott Doyle.
Ann Chaffee made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Calvin Rothermich seconded the motion.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
