In June of 1988, the fire company moved into its new fire station and the plaque honoring Harry Willis was removed from its place on the old fire station and placed in storage. A stone has been ordered on which the plaque will be mounted and placed on the hillside of the pond which Harry's wife and daughter played such a part in being constructed. A small garden will surround the stone as a reminder that what each of us does plays a small part in what our organization is yet to become. Memorial donations can be made to the Enfield Volunteer Fire Company Willis Garden Fund in care of the Fire Company.
