HomeMy WebLinkAboutcontract, draft fire protection 2004 - 12 08 2003 Enfield_00023. The FIRE COMPANY shall keep and maintain in good repair and working
order, suitable and adequate fire -fighting apparatus and all other necessary fire -fighting
tools, implements and equipment and emergency service equipment to properly discharge
its obligations hereunder.
4. The FIRE COMPANY agrees to supply the services of trained and
equipped fire-fighters and emergency medical personnel, utilizing mutual aid when
necessary.
S. The FIRE COMPANY agrees to procure, obtain and maintain in full force
and effect during the term of this agreement, sufficient insurance coverage for the fire-
fighting and emergency apparatus and personnel to be used in discharging its duties herein,
including but not limited to personal liability, property damage, collision, and workman's
compensation payable to a volunteer fire-fighter as provided by Section 205 of the
General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Proof of said coverage's shall be
provided to the TOWN upon request.
6. The TOWN acknowledges that the FIRE COMPANY is a member of the
Tompkins County Mutual Aid network, and that in the event the fire -fighting apparatus
and personnel of the FIRE COMPANY are committed or unable to respond, the FIRE
COMPANY and/or Tompkins County 911 Center shall arrange through Mutual Aid for
fire protection for the district, as herein required.
7.a For the year 2004, the TOWN agrees, on behalf of the district, to pay the
FUtE COMPANY the sum of two hundred twenty two thousand six hundred four
dollars and no cents ($222,604.00) payable in four (4) installments as follows:
1/20/04 $35,000.00
2/20/04 $75,000.00
3/20/04 $25,000.00
5/20/04 $87,604.00
Th. For the year 2005, the Town agrees, on behalf of the district, to pay the
FIRE COMPANY the sum of two hundred thirty one thousand five hundred eight
dollars and no cents ($231,508.00), payable in four (4) installments as follows:
1/20/05 $35,000.00
2/20/05 $75,000.00
3/20/05 $25,000.00
5/20/05 $96,508.00
