Example: A first aided should back out when • a E.M.T. arrives. This should be done by officer in charge. - 641 also responds on all MVA calls other trucks may accompany 641 depending on procedures set up by the Chief. - First person on the scene is to determine extent of injury to each person involved and to start life support procedures if necessary. - When 641 arrives on the scene driver should be ready to charge a hose line at the request of an officer. - As members arrive they are to report to an officer or person in charge for assignment. - Be sure to determine that all passengers in each vehicle are accounted for . When released by police agency, all fire department personnel should return to the station and not hang around the scene. Ac.c�va� �ecsoc�re,� C�,eck Out 13.) - Active members who participate in less than 50% of fires, trainings, meetings and work details must be checked out between Dec.1 & Dec.31. • - Guidelines for check out are as follows: 1. If chek out is not approved they must go before the Board of Directors to be granted an extension of time if warranted. 3. Each member should obtain a key to the fire station from the financial secretary. There is a fee for this. - Each member will be assigned to a group under the direction of one of the officers. The officer is responsible for keeping all records of fires, trainings and work details for each member of his group. - Members should become familiar with the trucks and location and use of the equipment carried on them. • - Fire Department member signs for your vehicle may be obtained from the Chief. - Always be careful at the fire scene, handle equipment safely, don't run, watch where you step and beware of broken glass.
