C\a�wNa 11.) - Protective gear consists of Helmet, coat, gloves and boots. - Protective gear is required before members will be allowed to engage in firefighting duties. - Protective gear will be issued by the Fire Chief as it becomes available, This equipment will be assigned to you and you will be responsible for the care of it. This equipment must be returned on request of the Fire Chief or Board of Directors. - Those without issued protective gear must use equipment on the trucks. - If you wish to buy your own protective gear see the Fire Chief for more details. - Only line officers will wear white helmets and coats. \ escoe CoMs 12.) - 641 is to respond on all rescue calls. - All available personnel are to respond. - First person on teh scene is to do primary survey and start life support procedures if necessary. - When 641 arrives at the scene driver or crew are to take number 1 kit and oxygen on first trip into the house. - Second person to arrive is to assist the first person. - Third person to arrive is to prepare for transport, locate and or clear easiest route for stretcher. - Fourth person is to take care of the family. If possible remove them to another part of the house and reassure them. • - Fifth person is to stand by the outside of the door in case more help is needed. - All other personnel are to stand by at a distance until called upon or returned to station by an officer or person in charge.
