Fire company
celebrates 50th
The Enfield Volunteer Fire Com-
pany will hold its 50th anniversary cel-
ebration from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, May
17 at the Enfield Fire Station at 172
Enfield Main Road.
At 2 p.m., the fire company will
hold a program honoring past mem-
bers, dedicate a memorial garden in
honor of longtime member Harry
wdlis and dedicate rescue vehicle 642
in memory of Gregory Kirchgessner, a
veteran firefighter killed in February.
There will be refreshments, a self -
guided tour through the facility, blood
pressure checks and fire safety infor-
mation for children and adults.
