Enfield Community Building
Present: Ann Rider and Sue Thompson
It was decided to move the meeting date to the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Historian's Office in the Enfield Community Building. There are several other organizations in Town that
have meetings on Thursdays.
There was discussion regarding the paperback book entitled “The Town of Enfield New York Christian Hill to Enfield Falls” by members of the Enfield Historical Society and Sue Thompson,
Enfield Town Historian. It was compiled and published in 2002 for the 175th Anniversary of the Town of Enfield.
It was discussed that an addendum could be compiled and published updating time line and government official listings for next year's celebration. Sue Thompson said she would do the
update. Ann Rider will find out about re-printing the updated book. The book is currently on the Town of Enfield website in pdf format. An estimated 25 copies could be printed.
Ideas for celebration from community members:
Ann Rider stated she talked to teachers at Enfield Elementary School and was not sure of their involvement at this point.
