SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
WEDNESDAY< AUGUST 19, 2009
A Special Town Board meeting was held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the
Enfield Town Hall, 168 Enfield Main Road, Ithaca N. Y. with Supervisor Podufalski
presiding.
Present: Supervisor Frank Podufalski, Town Councilperson Roy Barriere, Town
Councilperson Stephanie Gaynor, Town Clerk Alice Laue. Town Councilperson Herb
Masser and Town Councilperson Robert Harvey were absent.
Resolution #25 – 2009 – Justice Court Assistance Program Grant Application for 2009.
Moved by: Supervisor Podufalski Seconded by: Councilperson Barriere
WHEREAS, the State Legislature appropriated funds establishing the NYS Justice Court
Assistance Program, hereafter referred to JCAP, to assist town and villages in the
operation of their Justice Courts, and
WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative Judge of the State’s Unified Court System is again
entertaining grant applications for the year 2009, increasing the maximum amount able to
be awarded to $30,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the deadline for the application is August 31, 2009, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that this governing Board authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and
the Town Justice to complete and file the 2009 JCAP application with the State of New
York, Unified Court System.

Vote: Councilperson Barriere aye, Councilperson Gaynor aye, Supervisor Podufalski aye.
Councilperson Masser and Councilperson Harvey were absent. Resolution carried.
Adjournment:
Motion made by Councilperson Barriere and seconded by Supervisor Podufalski that the
Special Town Board meeting adjourns.

Councilperson Masser and Councilperson Harvey were absent. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
