PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
THURSDAY,NOVEMBER 6,2008
6:30 P.M.
A public hearing on the purposed Local Law#2-2008—Wind Energy Facilities Law was
held by the Town of Enfield Town Board Thursday,November 6 h,2008 at the Enfield
Community Building, 182 Enfield Main Road,Ithaca,New York at 6:30 p.m. with
Supervisor Podufalski presiding.
Present: Supervisor Frank Podufalski, Town Councilperson Roy Barriere, Town
Counciperson Stephanie Gaynor, Town Councilperson Robert Harvey, Town
Councilperson Herb Masser,Jr. and Town Clerk Alice Laue.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flay: Supervisor Podufalski led the assemblage in the Pledge
of Allegiance to the Flag.
Supervisor Podufalski opened the public hearing by reading the public hearing notice
published in the legal section of the Ithaca Journal.
The public hearing was attended by approximately sixty people. The majority of the
people in attendance were in favor of the Wind Energy Facilities Law. Those who had
concerns spoke of about set backs,set backs proposed are to small need to be larger,
safety,noise, placement of transformers and power lines.
Public hearing was closed at 7:35 p.m.
