Present: Supervisor Gary Fisher, Town Councilperson Larry Lanning, Town Councilperson Peggy Hubbell, Town Councilperson Sandra Small. Town Councilperson Greg Stevenson was absent. Also present were Highway Superintendent David Miller and Town Clerk Alice Laue. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag Supervisor Fisher led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Privilege of the Floor Bertha Hubbell Enfield Main Road Expressed concerns about the food program dispensed from the community building. County Legislator—Dan Winch Tompkins County's Legislature budget was passed with a 8 to 7 vote. Legislator Winch believes the budget does not reflect the needs of the rural people, such as increasing sheriff patrol. Road and bridge infrastructure is not being maintained. COMMUNICATIONS NYSEG Notice about choosing your electric supplier. Quarterly Loss Report for Workers' Compensation-no claims past quarter. Received Workers' Compensation Funding contribution notice. Quarterly Sales Tax Notice—third quarter $149,164.00. Extended Employment Liability Supervisor and Sprague Insurance agent reviewed the coverage of all insurance Town carries. Agent recommended that the Town add Extended Employment Liability Insurance to Town's policy. Premium is $865.00. Motion made by Town Councilperson Lanning, seconded by Town Councilperson Hubbell that the Town Board purchase the extra insurance for$865.00 to cover the Extended Employment Practice Liability endorsement with Sprague Insurance. Resolution #65 "Authorization of Tax Collector Petty Cash Fund" Moved by Supervisor Fisher, seconded by Town Councilperson Hubbell. WHEREAS, the Town Board may authorize a petty cash fund for the tax collector, and WHEREAS, the Town Clerk/Tax Collector has requested funding of a petty cash fund in the amount of$50.00, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes a petty cash fund in the amount of$50.00 for use during collection of taxes.
