SPECIAL TOWN BOARD
MEETING MINUTES
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH, 2003
6:30 P.M.
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Enfield was held Tuesday,
September 16th, 2003 at the Enfield Community Building, 182 Enfield Main Road,
Ithaca, New York at 6:30 p.m. with Supervisor Owens presiding.
Present: Supervisor Jean Owens, Town Councilperson Greg Stevenson, Town
Councilperson R J Switzer. Town Councilperson Pat Gumaer was absent. Town
Councilperson Peggy Hubbell was absent. Others present were Highway Superintendent
David Miller and Town Clerk Alice Laue.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
Supervisor Owens led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Monthly Bills
Supervisor Owens presented bills for payment.
Motion made by Town Councilperson Switzer, seconded by Town Councilperson
Stevenson that the Town Board of the Town of Enfield authorize the supervisor to pay
General Fund vouchers #256-282, dated 9/16/2003 in the amount of $8,296.58. Highway
Fund vouchers #113-125, dated September 16th, 2003 in the amount of $47,670.05.
Discussion – none
Vote- Supervisor Owens aye. Town Councilperson Stevenson aye, Town Councilperson
Switzer aye. Town Councilperson Gumaer was absent. Town Councilperson Hubbell
was absent. Motion carried.
Small Cities Housing Rehabilitation Workshop
Supervisor Owens requested authorization to attend the mandated Small Cities Housing
Rehabilitation Workshop in Albany September 22nd and 23rd, 2003.
Motion made by Town Councilperson Stevenson, seconded by Town Councilperson
Switzer that the Town Board authorize Supervisor Owens to attend the training in Albany
on September 22nd and 23rd, 2003 for the Small Cities Housing Rehabilitation Grant.
Discussion – none
Vote- Supervisor Owens aye. Town Councilperson Stevenson aye, Town Councilperson
Switzer aye. Town Councilperson Gumaer was absent. Town Councilperson Hubbell
was absent. Motion carried.

Adjournment
Motion made by Town Councilperson Switzer, seconded by Town Councilperson
Stevenson that the regular monthly meeting of the Town of Enfield Town Board adjourn.
Discussion – none
Vote- Supervisor Owens aye. Town Councilperson Switzer aye, Town Councilperson
Stevenson aye. Town Councilperson Gumaer was absent. Town Councilperson Hubbell
was absent. Motion carried.
