The regular monthly meeting of the Town of Enfield Town Board was held Wednesday, August 1 P, 2003 at the Enfield Community Building, 182 Enfield Main Road,Ithaca, NY at 6:30 p.m. with Supervisor Owens presiding. Present: Supervisor Jean Owens. Town Councilperson Greg Stevenson, Town Councilperson R J Switzer, Town Councilperson Pat Gumaer, Town Councilperson Peggy Hubbell. Others present were Code Enforcement Officers Ron Clark,Ed Hetherington and Town Clerk Alice Laue. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag Supervisor Owens led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Approval of the July 9'h, 2003 Regular Town Board Meeting Minutes. Motion made by Town Councilperson Switzer, seconded by Town Councilperson Gumaer that the Town Board approve the adoption of the July 9t', 2003 Regular Town Board Meeting Minutes. Discussion—none Vote- Supervisor Owens aye. Town Councilperson Stevenson aye, Town Councilperson Switzer aye, Town Councilperson Gumaer aye, Town Councilperson Hubbell aye. Motion carried. Committes/Reports Code Enforcement—Ed Hetherington Muse Fest 2003 to be held at Newhart's Lodge August 29 h through September 1', 2003. Code Enforcement Officer Hetherington has reviewed in detail with Ken Fletcher the Mass Gathering application for the Muse Fest_ Board needs to authorize the issuance of the Muse Fest Permit. Motion made by Town Councilperson Switzer, seconded by Town Councilperson Stevenson that the Town Board approve the authorization of the 2003 Muse Fest Permit. Motion made by Town Councilperson Stevenson, seconded by Town Councilperson Switzer that the Town Board of the Town of Enfield authorize the supervisor to pay General Fund Vouchers#229-255, dated 8/13/2002, in the amount of$6,69.96. Highway Fund vouchers#92-222, dated 8/13/2003, in the amount of$22,110.29. Discussion— none Vote- Supervisor Owens aye.
